Asset-level climate risk and sustainability analytics for real estate portfolios worldwide
Floodlight REST (Real Estate Sustainability Tool) is an asset-level climate risk and sustainability analytics platform for real estate portfolios. It translates ten physical climate hazards — including floods, hurricanes, wildfires, heatwaves, and sea-level rise — into Expected Annual Loss, percentile Value-at-Risk (95%, 99%, 99.9%), and a Climate-Adjusted Asset Value across Orderly (1.5 °C), Disorderly (2 °C), and Hot House (3 °C+) climate pathways. Built on published damage curves from FEMA HAZUS-MH, USACE, IBHS, and GloFAS, and powered by proprietary machine-learning models fed by high-resolution satellite imagery from ESA and NASA together with ground sensor networks and validated third-party databases, REST provides a full chain-of-custody methodology. Property developers, investors, and asset owners access results via API or web portal to benchmark individual assets, measure GHG emissions, and integrate climate risk into portfolio-level decision-making.
